Ruth and I would like say thank-you for visiting our ministry site and we give thanks to God first and second to all our ministries supporters for aiding us to do the work of God. This past year has been a big year for us here at LTN Ministries. God has been opening so new many doors for us as a ministry to walk through; We moved our ministry from the southern part of the U.S. to here in South Dakota 2006 when Ruth and I got married.
This winter season 2009-2010 for our Disaster Ministry is here.
A PRAYER REQUEST AND UPDATE FROM DAVID AND RUTH:
Good Morning from South Dakota, I like to take a few moments of your time to say thank you for all who pray for my family and me and our ministry As you know the first part of 2009 my family and I had many times of uncertainties; but God was faithful as always to my family and I; as he has promised in his word. In scripture, we read that strong faith is the essential tool for facing life's uncertainties. The scripture prompts us to look beyond our trials to the one who's promised to guide and sustain us.Gods word promises he will not put on more than we can handle and bare. His word as well promises us, he will all ways be with us and never leave us. We serve a mighty God who never stops blessing us if obey his word.
I had a battle with my my health. My family and I trusted in God and he alone brought us through with many blessings. But now our family is faces another crises. This it's with my dad in Georgia has been diagnosed with bone cancer so now again were asking our prayer warriors to come to aid again. So please keep us and my mom and dad in your thoughts and prayers.
So medical wise I am doing a lot better. We do praise God and give God all the glory for the doctors and them finding right off the bat what was going on with me medical wise. My family and our ministry was suffering in finances for a while. But I want thank God for blessing me with one of the greatest opportunities yet in my ministry. As of the last week of June I took the job as the Aurora County Emergency Manager. This was great blessing from God. The job has full paid health insurance benefits as well as a retirement plan. The health insurance is the greatest blessing for me and my family, as it being a group insurance they can not rider any of my health problems. So this means my heart and diabetes is covered.
This as well means that I had to established my residence in Aurora County. This meant another place for me and my family to live . My wife's job as a teacher has another year in her contract to be fulfilled; If we totality move our family, she would have to drive around a 100 miles a day . That was not going work . So how did God fix this problem. Through my mother in-law God found us a 4 bed room home in Aurora county that will not cost us a Penney to use. The family who owns home is donating to us the use of home till we can move the whole family to Aurora County.
I want to say one more time what a great God we serve. I am not worried one bit hat God want meet our every need. Even though Staten is always out trying to find ways to attack me my family; but we know, no matter how big or small our situations are God will always be in control and God will always win.
So thank you in advance for your prayer support. THE BAKERS

a couple more group areas since the main mission only goes up to the

meetings on Wed. night now.
The 2009 needs is going to be around $60,000.00 this year; I know this sounds like a lot for a small ministry as ours; but were needing to purchase two more trucks and a flatbed trailer and one larger enclosed trailer and other equipment.
